Pro-Direct: Transforming the online experience into a digitally dynamic physical store

At Retail Design Expo 2015, we presented a keynote speech alongside our client Pro-Direct about transforming an online experience into a physical store. You can now view the presentation accompanied by the voice-over recorded live at the Expo below.

The presentation encompasses a walk through the customer journey within the store, and an explanation of the digitally flexible grid system. This innovative grid system is the foundation for displaying the curated online content within the physical store, and it was key to providing customers with a physical manifestation of the ever-changing online experience.

Other store highlights include:

  • The hyper-visual boot monolith displaying limited edition and signed boots, which successfully became a selfie hit
  • Apparel displayed on digital mannequins
  • The social media wall where customers can scroll through the latest feeds and view all of the top scoring boots

The video also includes a selection of store takeovers that have demonstrated the extreme flexibility of the grid system, such as this take over by Nike, ShineThrough.
