The North Face®
As part of their ongoing relationship with Green Room, The North Face® required an industry-leading exhibition stand for The OutDoor Show to showcase the very best of their innovative product range.
|Showcase the latest innovations in The North Face®’s three core product lines to encourage trade partners at The OutDoor Show in Friedrichshafen, the leading industry event, with attendees from over 40 countries.||The stand had to demonstrate the products in context to and encourage engagement and interaction.|
The 340m2 exhibition stand was designed to showcase the latest innovations from The North Face®’s three core product lines; Mountain Sports, Mountain Culture, and Mountain Athletics.
The highlight of the stand was the ‘Summit Series’ enclosure on the elevated first floor, which enabled trade partners to develop an in-depth understanding of the product proposition. We wanted to present this pinnacle product with all the drama of the catwalk.
The feature ‘Summit Series’ section was an enclosed space comprising six mannequin busts, suspended in a runway style down the centre of the long room. Each was supported by braided steel wire to create a mountain terrain base, with graphic call-outs to highlight the product. Hero illumination drew the eye, while additional lighting within the area was restricted to spotlights, resulting in a very deliberate, dramatic focus.
Within this area, workshops were held to encourage trade partners to take the jackets off the mannequins and trial the products.
The creation of the exhibition stand forms part of the ongoing relationship Green Room has with The North Face®. Other projects include the rolling development of seasonal window campaigns in stores across Europe.
