Green Room goes from strength to strength

Birmingham-based retail design consultancy Green Room has reported another year of strong growth. Green Room has seen delivered turnover grow to in excess of £12 million – increasing by over 30% for the second year in a row. The business, which has its head office at Fort Dunlop, Birmingham, works with global brands such as Nike, The North Face, Mercedes-Benz and VANS to design and deliver multichannel brand and retail experiences.

Over the last year, Green Room grew its team to over 70 and expects the team to increase further to around 100 staff over the next year.

In 2014/15 Green Room also opened new studios in Amsterdam and London. The business has seen its fee revenue grow by more than 35% following on from a similarly strong performance in 2014. Over the last year, Green Room delivered a number of landmark projects including Sun & Sand Sports flagship store in Dubai; a groundbreaking customer facility for The Bosch Group and an iconic multichannel store concept for online sports retailer Pro-Direct. This growth comes on the back of investment in Green Room by Finance Birmingham via its Mezzanine Fund in October 2014.
