Flagship Store Design for SEAT
Having successfully launched VW Group’s first retail store at Lakeside, SEAT asked us to design their second flagship at Westfield London. The space was designed specifically to bring the spirit of Barcelona right to the heart London.
CONTEXT
Sunny Barcelona was our muse for the project. We hopped on a plane to the Catalan Capital to immerse ourselves in SEAT's brand heritage and to truly understand the city’s lifestyle and culture.
Taking inspiration from the relaxed way of life in the region, the architecture and Gaudi’s famous Park Güell, our design concept captures the essence of the city's colours, sights and sounds.
RESULT
Experience-wise, we created an unpressurised space that encouraged visitors to slow down and discover the brand on their own terms. No salespeople, no commission structures: just helpful staff on hand if needed.
And in terms of the space itself, the inspirations are clear: Gaudi-style mosaic tiles form a communal seating area situated beneath an olive tree, while LED lighting mimics the calming movement of clouds overhead.
